Learn To Fight With Sword And Shield

The sword & buckler online course is here for you!

Hello sword & buckler fans, and martial arts enthusiasts.

The long awaited sword and buckler online course is finally available for purchase.

My fellow researcher and instructor Cornelius Berthold and myself are excited to present to you this introduction to our take on this medieval fighting art. The course comprises 65 videos, total running time is 5.30 hours.

Cornelius and I would love to give it away for free, as we have done with hundreds of posts and videos in past years. Alas, the truth is that we cannot afford that – we have to pay our bills somehow. So we set the course’s regular price at $500, BUT until Sunday October 8th, you can get it at 40% off.

You can choose between paying in one lump of $300, or ten monthly instalments of $30 instead. Find pricing options at the bottom of the salespage. So now is the best time to buy.

After enrolling, you have unlimited and lifetime access, across any and all devices you own. You can stream or even download videos to make you independent of internet access at your training location.

What the course is all about

Cornelius and I would be delighted to share with you our knowledge and experience, whether you want to start your pursuit of sword & buckler fighting, add sword & buckler combat to your school’s curriculum, hone your skills as a proficient practitioner, or add a fresh perspective to your study of medieval martial culture.

This course will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of the fighting system as laid out in the foundational first play of the 14th century manuscript fecht 1, commonly known as I.33.

Learn about tactics & timing, footwork, posture, striking mechanics, blade binds, and fine motor skills. In addition to advice on modern training equipment, useful workouts, partner lessons and solo drills, you will get in-depth information about the weapons of the age, including exclusive full scale drawings and stats of selected original swords to base your practice weapons on.

The course provides resources and exercises for months, if not years of training. I have repeatedly referred to it myself for my own training.

We have put together an intro video to give you an idea of what to expect. You can access it as a public preview on the course’s sales page in the curriculum section. Unfold the curriculum, and find another public preview further down the list.

I speak for Cornelius too, when I say that it would be our greatest reward if you would find this course useful and inspiring, and thereby furthering the pursuit of and research into our mutual martial heritage.

Take care & train hard!

Roland
